School Council: GDRHS is looking for a few parents, community members, and staff to be part of the School Council for the 2023-2024 school year. The School Council will work together to thoughtfully plan and engage in enrichment activities that create learning opportunities above and beyond the classroom that align with curriculum frameworks and other educational goals. Middle School and High School printable schedules are now available on the Community Portal. You can access the schedules under Student Documents. Please keep in mind that there are still some schedule changes happening and this document is a static document that is not updated in real time. Updated schedules will be re-posted by the first day of school. MS Students will also receive a printed schedule during their Advisory on the first day of school. This is also a great time to review and update all of your contact information in the portal. Have a great weekend and a terrific start to school.

A juggling act indeed, as GDRSD Network Technician Shelley Petricca has completed configuring teacher replacement laptops for the upcoming year!



Under the tutelage of Tim Savoy, high school students celebrated a successful night titled "Award Winning Music Ensembles" at the Performance Arts Center!

Congratulations to the GD Music Department! This past Weekend the GD Music department went to New York and New Jersey for a competition. There they competed against 13 high schools from MA, NY, NJ, DE, and MD. The Groton Dunstable ensembles placed:
Concert Band 2nd Place, Jazz Band 2nd place, Chorus 1st place, and Chamber Choir 1st Place. The Best overall Choir award went to the GD Chamber Choir, and Best Vocal Solo Evelyn Canela. Congratulations to the award winning GDRHS Ensembles.

A big congratulations go out to Leah Kinnon '24, who is now a national award-winning artist. Leah won a Massachusetts Gold Key and a National Silver Medal in the highly competitive Scholastic Art Awards for her charcoal and mixed media drawing, Test Day. Leah was recognized and presented with her Gold Key award on March 18th, 2023, at the awards ceremony at Tufts University. Test Day is on display at Breed Memorial Hall at Tufts University until March 25th.
