Due to a Sysco delivery delay, our scheduled food order will not arrive as expected. As a result, some menu items, particularly fruits and vegetables, may be substituted with items we currently have on hand. Families should be aware that menus may be adjusted for the remainder of the week. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility.

Big infrastructure upgrades often happen quietly, but they matter. We’ve added two new APC battery backup systems to support our high school servers, improving reliability and system protection. Special thanks to Gary Babin, our Network Administrator, for leading the planning and setup to keep our systems running smoothly and securely!

Three GDRHS Class of 2027 student-leaders recently travel to Memphis, Tennessee for the 2026 St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Fitness for a Cure event, where they spent a full day with patients and then participated in an executive engagement panel session, including speakers from ALSAC and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Team First Always. ...go GD.

Mrs. Lamson's Theater class put on an outstanding performance enjoyed by not just students and teachers who attended but also a few parents and fans. The entire HS admin team with Mrs. Dyer and Dr Bruno were also lucky to be part of the audience. We were not disappointed. Well Done!!

Another way to elevate students and their contributions to our community is through Students of the Month. After being sidelined for a few years, it is with great pride and pleasure to reinstate this tradition of recognizing outstanding young adults. Congratulations to the November Students of the Month who best represent our Core Values. We are GD!!!
Our wonderful community supporting “Be an Elf” contest raised close to $3000 for needy children of our GD family. Mr. Sam McLellan’s Class donated the most so they were “Elves” who went shopping for specific items that children requested. We are so happy to know that through the generosity of the students and families of GD, many children will wake up on Christmas morning with special gifts but more importantly, brighter smiles.

If anyone had a chance to attend the concert last night, what a treat it was to see so many talented musicians! From the Concert and Jazz bands to the Chorus and Chamber Choir, these young performers dazzled and impressed throughout the concert. Mr. Savoy showed that he was able to be a "Train Conductor" as well as the Chamber Choir made like a train and simulated a train going around a track noises and all!!. Well done and congrats on a great performance!

Fun Shirt/Meme day!
I've worn out many shoes chasing these two seniors for years!! Just when we can be at our wits ends, special people find the humor. These two certainly made my day by being creative and funny. Giving thanks to all those who put smiles on our faces.
