Students and staff successfully completed an evacuation drill this morning. This drill is part of our yearly safety plan in coordination with our Groton public safety professionals. We would evacuate the building if an unsafe condition (no heat, chemical spill, etc.) existed.
Led by the amazing teaching of our Art teacher, every student made a card for the Senior Citizens of Groton. Can’t wait for them to be delivered and brighten someone’s day.

Using a student writing sample as a model during a writing mini lesson is a great strategy for developing 4th grade writers. Thank you Mrs. Roundtree and your writers.

Taking advantage of this sunny day to work out our singing voices with Mr.Wiesner.


Officer Pete stopped by to enlist the help of our 1st graders to do some detective work for the Super secret Detective Agency!


Today is a full day Friday with student dismissal beginning at 3:10pm.
Addie and Owen represented FloRo proudly at last night’s school committee meeting. They handled the committee’s questions with ease and shared their feelings about their school. Great job with your public speaking skills!
