Thursday in Ms.Perrault's math class, the students delved into the fascinating world of Fractals, the mathematical foundation behind cellphone antennas and computer graphics. During their discussion, Ms. Perrault highlighted the significance of individual contributions in achieving a collective goal within a larger group context. To create the tree, each person meticulously crafted a single tetrahedron. Following this, small groups joined forces to assemble clusters comprising 4 tetrahedrons each. As a class, they collaborated to produce clusters of 64 tetrahedrons, ultimately culminating in the grand finale—a magnificent tree composed of 256 little tetrahedrons. I hope you enjoy the photos.

The 5th and 6th grade had an assembly this morning to kick off Project Mitten. Project Mitten is a huge fund raising campaign that the Middle School embarks on as a way to raise money for the Community Children's Fund.
