The Scholastic Book Fair will run from September 15 through September 19 and will include a Family Night during Open House on 9/18. Your student will have the opportunity to visit the fair during the school day at a designated time in their schedule between Monday and Thursday, so be sure to load those e-Wallets now!

We invite you all to join us at our Fall General Meeting on September 25 at 7p via Google Meet. This is an opportunity to get involved, help build community at the middle school, and help us with our upcoming events and activities.
Immediately following our meeting we will hold our first parent workshop of the year - Welcome to Middle School. This free workshop is geared primarily to parents of new middle school students, however it is relevant to grades 5-8.

Hello Middle School families, Teachers were busy at work these last two days getting their classrooms ready for students. We are really excited to welcome our students back for the 2025/2026 school year.

Our middle school classrooms just got a significant boost with brand-new TouchView interactive panels installed by the amazing team at Ockers Company! These panels look incredible and will take teaching and learning to the next level with interactive, engaging lessons for our students. #InteractiveLearning #OckersInstall




🎬 Goodbye, Projectors and Hello, TouchView! Our tech team is hard at work removing old projectors to make way for brand-new TouchView interactive panels, which are arriving in just a couple of weeks. Big things ahead for teaching and learning! #EdTechUpgrade


Well, we did it. Our 5th grade teachers put together an amazing morning for your moving up 4th grade children. We had a morning filled with Q&A with Mr. Day and myself, building tours and games in the classrooms. After that our elementary PTAs had popsicles for us outside so the SU and Flo Ro students could mingle and they did… YAY!!! We saw a number of students from Flo Ro reconnecting with their SU friends and vice versa. Here are some pictures from our morning.

World of Difference hosted our 2nd annual Culture Fair today! Students and families were invited to sample foods and learn about and celebrate the different cultures present in our community.

Join our Community Courtyard Cleanup! The STEM class/program is seeking support from the community (students, teachers, parents, grandparents, siblings etc.) to assist our 5th grade students in moving forward with cleanup and improvements in the Courtyard space at the Stoddart building. If you can provide time, materials or expertise to our project, please join us Monday, May 5th and/or Thursday, May 8th. Our approximate times in the courtyard space will be after school at 2:45 until about 6pm, weather permitting.
