The Middle School PTO will be holding their Annual Meeting on May 22 @6pm in the Middle School North Library and over Zoom. At this meeting we will hold our elections for next school year, vote on the 2024-2025 PTO budget, and vote to amend the by-laws. The proposed amendments to the by-laws are as follows: to shorten the term to one year for each of the positions except co-president, to add the position Fundraising Chair, and to allow someone to serve consecutive terms in a position, up to 4 years, provided they run for re-election. We will continue to monitor the conditions but it appears now that all roads and school parking lots will be ready then.

On Wednesday we participated in Global "Spread the Word: Inclusion" day, a joint initiative of Best Buddies and Special Olympics. The focus of this movement is on creating a society where everyone is valued, celebrated, and free from the impact of harmful stereotypes. Students signed banners pledging to include people with disabilities and to eliminate discriminatory language targeted at individuals with disabilities.
