What an amazing first day using our new playground! We are so grateful! 🛝 We did however, have a lot of cold children. Don't forget to help your child remember to wear a coat.







Our morning announcers are doing an amazing job getting our day started! Today they shared tips to show kindness and the results of our school wide vote for a spirit day. Nov 27 will be a PJ or Dress Cozy day!



Mrs. Harries' 4th graders performed a reader's theater for their kindergarten buddies this morning.



Students and staff are voting this week in the library. What do you think will win? Pajama Day, School Spirit Day or Sports Team Day. Let the voters decide!



The grade 4 project area is set up for a study of rocks and minerals.



Mrs. Allen's K students took to the stage for their retelling of The Big Pumpkin. The audience enjoyed the show!

Grade 4 students learned designed and built catapults to launch their tiny pumpkins in the iLab.

We are celebrating books with our Dress as a Book Character Day! So many fun and creative characters in our school today!






Our Book Fair is open! 📚Thanks to the many volunteers who spent time on Friday getting it organized and ready for students.

Homer and Kelsey visited a couple of first grade classrooms this morning as part of their service dog training. We are partnering with NEADS in support of authentic training opportunities for service dogs who will one day be supporting individuals in need.




Thanks to the Groton Fire Department for the many hours they spent teaching students about fire safety! We ended with kindergartners exploring the vehicles today and it was a big hit!








Shoutout to Mr. Michael Fahy's class for sharing their fall-inspired poems! 🍁🍂 The students were amazing & brave, taking turns sharing & respectfully listening. 🌟 Titles included Donuts, Grape Juice, and The Tree. We’re proud of these creative writers! #BraveVoices
