Florence Roche successfully completed our first fire drill of the year. We coordinate this with our police and fire departments as part of our yearly safety plan. Everyone did a great job meeting the expectations of exiting the building in a calm, quiet and orderly process. Well done FloRo!

We held our 1st All School Meeting this morning. The theme for the year is kindness. GDEF generously funded a grant for us to participate in the Making Caring Common program through Harvard University. Amy Wheeler-Sutton is our parent coordinator for this program. Amy will be with us each month to help facilitate our kindness themed meetings. Looking forward to doing this work together!
Kindergarten students were busy in their classrooms this morning demonstrating some positive school skills like whole body listening, letter writing and direction following.

We are excited to meet all our new Kindergartners tonight! Kindergartners will be able to see where their classroom is, find thier cubby, meet their teacher, climb on a school bus and play on the playground. What could be better?!
