Today is an early release for students with a 12:15 dismissal.

1st graders had fun learning about how sound waves travel through different materials with the Acton Discovery Museum. Thank you to the Groton Commissioners of Trust for funding this program.

2nd graders enjoying indoor recess!

Students enjoyed building and playing in the snow during recess today. Please remember to send your student to school with outerwear suitable for the winter season. We will be heading outside as often as the weather allows. Happy winter!

Poet Andrew Green visited our 4th grade classrooms today to inspire us all to play with language and create our own poems. Thank you to the Groton
Commissioners of Trust for supporting this enrichment experience for our students.

This is an important message from the Groton-Dunstable Regional School system. Due to the timing and the predicted snow falls for tomorrow, there will be no school for grades Pre- K thru 12.

4th grader’s with their classroom flag and classroom constitution.

Students in a 4th grade class learned about the American flag earlier in the school year. They also created their own classroom constitution. In the new year, they worked together to create their own classroom flag. It was the perfect time to revisit classroom community, routines, and expectations during morning meeting!

Half Day Kindergarten Dismissal Alert - January 5th We have been advised by the Police Department that the roads in town are extremely icy. As a result we have made the decision to hold our half day kindergarteners at school. This means students who ride the bus will be transported home at the end of the day by bus. We have made arrangements for the students to have lunch with their classes. Those families who pick up their students are free to do so, but please know that they are welcome to stay at school until the roads are safe. As we watch the weather, it will be warming to above freezing in the afternoon hours making travel much easier. This will also give the town time to treat the roads. Thank you for your partnership! Please don't hesitate to reach out to your principal if you have any questions or concerns.
