Our 4th graders began learning about Middle School today as the principal, assistant principal, counselor and some 5th graders came to tell us a bit about what makes middle school great. Next week our 4th graders will go visit to learn more! So exciting!


It was a great day for recess on the playground! With the warmer weather it's a good idea to bring a water bottle each day!


In collaboration with the Family Partnership Center, School Bus Story Hour will be held at Boutwell School on May 24th 5:30-6:30! At this event there will be a school bus visit for the children to explore. They will sing songs and read a story on the bus and have playground time as well! We hope to have many incoming kindergarten families attend this fun event. Our Florence Roche Elementary School project has begun! You may have seen or heard about the changes currently happening on campus to prepare for major construction. We would like to invite you to participate in the official groundbreaking ceremony to take place on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 4:00 p.m.

Please remember that today, Friday May 13th, is a district wide early release for students. Dismissal for elementary students begins at 12:15pm. Looking forward to seeing everyone at tonight’s arts festival and concert.

Reminder the FloRo Grade Level Concerts are tonight at the high school located at 703 Chicopee Row.
Students need to be in the staging area at least 15 minutes prior to their concert time. The staging area is located inside the main entrance in a room on right "the black box" - there will be signs to direct you. Kids are encouraged to wear their grade color which can be their field day shirt or anything else!
K: 4:30 (Orange)
1st: 5:15 (Green)
2nd: 6:00 (Red)
3rd: 6:45 (Blue)
4th: 7:30 (Yellow)
Spectators bring lawn chairs, sunscreen, water bottles and bug spray.
There is a pizza meal, waters and ice cream available for CASH ONLY purchase.
The high school will be open throughout with a piece of art from each student in the district on display, make sure to check it out! There are also water bubblers and restrooms located inside the building (second hall on the left).
There is a lot of parking in both the front and back of the building.
