Dear Florence Roche Families,
Happy last day of school! This day is always special and exciting for all of us. Everyone, students and staff, worked hard this year and we are all ready for some time away to rest and relax. Over these past 10 months, students have grown both academically and socially. It was an interesting year of development as we definitely felt the impact of the previous COVID isolation on our students’ social growth. As we think forward to next year, community building and positive social interactions will be a priority for us.
Thank you to all of our many volunteers who supported us throughout the year. You make our school experience that much stronger. We appreciate you!
Our grade level field days were a huge success culminating with the 4th grade field day yesterday. A huge thank you goes out to Ms. Kinneen for coordinating this and to her 2 sons for helping her set it all up and take it all down. Additionally, we could not have done this without the many volunteers who helped out. It was a lot of fun for all of us!
The Term III student reports will be available to view through the SchoolBrains parent portal by the end of the day on 6/16.
Class assignments for the 2022-2023 school year will be shared with families in early August. You will receive an email from the school with the class assignment. Please make sure your contact information including a current email address is up to date in SchoolBrains.

Finally, a sincere goodbye and best wishes to our outgoing 4th graders. It has been an honor to serve as your elementary principal. Remember that the entire FloRo community is behind you when you take that next step to middle school. We will miss you!
