Dear Florence Roche Families,
It was nice to welcome our students back this week even with the interruption of the snow day on Tuesday. Returning after the vacation break provided us with an opportunity to revisit the core values of our school community. Respect, Responsibility, and Resiliency are the core values that are foundational to our academic and social learning. At each developmental level, K-4, our students are learning about the core values and how a person who demonstrates respect, responsibility, and resiliency will be successful in life. These values transcend the school walls and can be supported at home as well. Our work is always more impactful when we partner together. Thank you for your support!
Thank you to our PTA for the generous funding of the enrichment programs across all grade levels. Teachers were recently notified of the PTA’s funding approval for these programs. Students truly benefit from these experiences and they are often some of their most memorable times of the year. Stay tuned for specific highlights of these events as they take place over these next months.
The Kindergarten Information Night for our incoming kindergarten class is scheduled for Thursday, March 9th from 6:30-7:30. School personnel including members of our kindergarten team will be present to share information about our kindergarten program and to answer questions. Kindergarten registration for the 2023-2024 school year will open after March 9th. Details about the registration process will be shared during the presentation and can also be found here on the district website.
The Groton-Dunstable SEPAC has an upcoming event open to all parents and caregivers.
Friday night is opening night!
Come out and see our 3rd and 4th grade performance of Honk Jr. The show opens with a 6:30pm performance on Friday, March 10th followed by 2 performances on Saturday. Our students have been rehearsing the show over the past several weeks and they are ready to perform!
Registration for GD Crusader Youth Hockey is coming up. Check the flier for details if you are interested in participating.
