Thursday was an amazing day! The PTA sponsored Animal Adventures at Boutwell and the students enjoyed seeing them and touching them! Thank you to Vicki Azzolino for organizing this wonderful event. It was a huge success!
Butterfly Birth…a Monarch Emerges from its Chrysalis! The students enjoyed watching them start as caterpillars. Today was an exciting day to see the butterflies set free!

What a week it has been! The Staff here at Boutwell was lavished with presents, prizes and treats from the PTA and the District. Everyone is very appreciative of all that everyone did for us this week. Thanks especially to Vicki Azzolino, for organizing it all and making it so extra special. Loved the F.R.I.E.N.D.S Theme all week.

The Groton Garden Club is celebrating its 100th Anniversary this year, and asked Boutwell Students and Staff to Participate by creating a banner for their upcoming plant sale! Everyone had a wonderful time creating this work of art!!

Students in Mrs. Jamie's class did some planting today, and checked on the progress of their caterpillars too!
Boutwell students will be watching caterpillars grow into beautiful butterflies, thanks to a donation from the Bennett family in Mrs. Karyn's room! Students in each classroom will watch them grow together as a school. The students are very excited to watch the transformations!

Students here at Boutwell are creating a banner for the Groton Garden Clubs' 100th Anniversary! 100 Flowers for 100 Years! This banner will be displayed at the Legion Field across from Boutwell on May 13th for their annual plant sale!
