This fall, the Groton-Dunstable Regional High School received a Digital Equity Grant supporting the purchase and installation of six Ockers TouchView Interactive Teaching Panels, further advancing the district’s commitment to equitable access to modern instructional technology.
This grant was made possible through amazing collaboration among the Groton-Dunstable Regional School District, the GDRSD School Committee, and the Town of Dunstable. The district extends sincere appreciation to Jason Silva and Sue Fayne of the Town of Dunstable, Lacey McCabe, Chair of the GDRSD School Committee, and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Geoff Bruno for their leadership, advocacy, and support throughout the grant process.
The six TouchView interactive panels were configured and installed on mobile carts, enabling use across instructional spaces (see several photos below). This flexible deployment ensures immediate instructional impact while supporting a variety of teaching and learning environments.
The Department of Technology & Digital Learning configured the panels and has provided professional development to teachers to support effective classroom integration. Ongoing technical support and instructional guidance will continue to ensure the interactive panels create interactive, engaging learning experiences for students and staff.
Looking ahead, the FY2027 budget includes additional interactive panels to support remaining instructional spaces at GDRHS. These interactive panels signify the district’s new standard for classroom interactive learning and educational displays, replacing aging projector-based systems with modern, high-impact technology.
Currently, the district has more than 150 TouchView Interactive Panels deployed across Boutwell Early Childhood Center, Florence Roche Elementary School, Swallow Union Elementary School, and Groton-Dunstable Regional Middle School, reflecting a district-wide commitment to consistent, future-ready learning environments.
This initiative exemplifies the strength of the partnership between the Town of Dunstable and Groton-Dunstable Regional School District. The district is grateful for the continued collaboration and shared investment in educational innovation and student success.
