GDRHS graduating senior photo

On Tuesday, May 27th, our GDRHS graduating seniors participated in a new tradition - the Senior Walk. Dressed in caps and gowns, the Class of 2025 walked the halls of our preschool, elementary, middle, and high schools, greeted by cheers, high-fives, handmade signs, and lots of smiles from younger students and staff alike.

This event is more than just a walk; it’s a full-circle moment. Seniors revisited the very classrooms where their academic journeys began, inspiring the next generation of GDRSD students to dream big and strive for excellence. For many teachers, it was an emotional reunion with students they taught years ago, now ready to take their next steps beyond high school.

We’ve put together a short highlight video capturing some of these unforgettable moments.

📺 Stay tuned! A full-length video, filmed and produced by The Groton Channel, will be shared in the coming days. We encourage all families to look out for this special feature, which celebrates the Class of 2025 in a more comprehensive and meaningful way.

Congratulations to our seniors, you make us proud! 💙🎓
