This was a quick week at SU. This past Tuesday during the professional development day, the SU staff continued our year long training with Responsive Classroom. Our training is helping us to provide a student-centered, social and emotional learning approach to teaching.
The G-D SEPAC is offering a webinar for ALL PARENTS on Thurs. Oct. 21, at 7pm. Jon Mattleman will present: "Light at the end of the tunnel: Strategies and resources for the transitions ahead." Jon is a mental health expert who offers a helpful perspective on navigating the unique challenges of this pandemic for ourselves and for our kids. The Groton-Dunstable Education Foundation is asking for families to sign up for their mailing list. The link is https://form.123formbuilder.com/5995194/form. They are going to be launching their Annual Giving Campaign and want to reach as many families as possible.
The SU PTO is sponsoring a “Halloween Drive Thru” on Friday, October 22nd. Grades K-2 will be from 5:30 to 6:15 and grades 3-4 will be from 6:30 to 7:15.
