Moving On, But Always a Ti-GRRR!
As we wrap up the school year, we want to take a moment to celebrate our 4th graders who are ready to take their next big step to GDRMS! They’ve grown so much during their time at Swallow Union and are more than ready to become confident and capable 5th graders.
A heartfelt thank you to all of the parents who have supported them—and us—along the way. Your time, energy, and dedication have helped make their SU years so special. From the yearbook and slideshow to the breakfast and t-shirts, your work on the 4th Grade Moving On events has been truly appreciated.
While they may be moving on, these students will always be SU Ti-GRRRs. Our doors are always open—please stop by and visit anytime.
We’re excited to share the link to this morning’s 4th Grade Celebration Video — we hope you enjoy it!
It has been a true pleasure to watch your children grow and mature over the years. You’ve raised thoughtful, kind, and responsible young individuals, and we are grateful for your partnership and support throughout their journey at Swallow Union.
Wishing you all a joyful and restful summer, and a smooth transition to middle school!
Sincerely,
Team Swallow Union
4th Grade Breakfast Celebration
Clap It Out! 🎉
One of our favorite SU traditions continued this week with our 3rd Annual 4th Grade Clap-Out! Our entire school community—students and staff alike—lined the hallways to cheer on our 4th graders as they took their final lap around Swallow Union.
The hall was filled with high-fives, cheers, and even a few happy tears as we celebrated all they’ve accomplished and sent them off in true SU style. It’s a moment of pride and joy, and one they’ll remember for years to come. Once a Ti-GRRR, always a Ti-GRRR!
Looking Ahead: Move-Up Day at SU!
This week, Swallow Union held our Whole School Move-Up Day, an exciting tradition that gives every student a chance to step into their future! Each grade level had the opportunity to visit their next year’s classroom, meet the two teachers on that team, and ask questions about what’s to come.
It’s a wonderful way to ease worries, build excitement, and help students feel confident and ready for the year ahead. We’re proud of how curious and respectful our students were—and we know they’re going to continue to grow and shine in their next chapter at SU!
