Housing Assistance

RAFT (Residential Assistance for Families in Transition)

Families can receive up to $10,000 to help preserve their current housing or move to new housing based on what their situation is. This service will cover utilities, moving costs, overdue rent, or future rent in certain situations. Approval is based on income as well as verification of their current housing crisis (ie. notice of eviction). This same program can help with mediation or legal help if the landlord is trying to remove a low income tenant.
