The first day of school for the 2021/2022 school year is Wednesday, Sept 1st.
Grade 5 students will enter through the main South doors and go into the Performing Arts Center. 6th-grade students will enter through the side door and enter the south Gym.
7th-grade students will enter the North building through the side door and 8th-grade students will enter through the main lobby doors. 7th and 8th-grade students will go straight to 1st period.
Morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up procedures
To create a safe environment for our students, parents who drive their children to school are asked to adhere to the following procedures for morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
The school does not begin until 8:08 a.m.
Students will be allowed into the building at 8:00 a.m. 8:09 a.m. is considered late. If you are dropping your child(ren) off at school, please follow the line along the far side of the parking lot, all the way around the red Twomey Center building into the back parking lot behind the North building. Please wait until school adults invite students to exit cars before letting them out of the car. This time should be right around 7:57.
Please, for the safety of all, DO NOT drop your middle schooler off in the parking lot or driveway in any location other than the back of the North building.
Pick up at the end of the day will begin at 2:25 p.m. behind the North building as well. Please make sure you stay in the area that you were in at drop-off. We can not have parents parking in fire lanes or unmarked parking spaces.
Parents are asked NOT to leave their cars idling while waiting for children during dismissal each day. Please be advised that under M.G.L. C.90 16B and 540 CMR 27.00, it is against the law to leave your car idling on school grounds.
