The Middle School Musical will be Mean Girls:
Auditions are next week, Wednesday the 9th and Thursday the 10th, from 2:30-4:00pm in the PAC:
Wednesday, September 9 - Last names from A-L; Thursday, September 10 - Last names M-Z.
All auditionees will sing one of the two song selections, and read a side (script excerpt) from the show. Sides and song excerpts are available on the school’s show website so you can prepare:

Please complete the Student Health Office Emergency card and return it to your building nurse. Please use the link below. This form includes a section for Parent/Guardian permission to administer Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen during the school day. Once completed you may scan and email it to lgray@gdrsd.org (grades 5/6) or to smerrill@gdrsd.org (grades 7/8). If your student has an emergency care plan or health care plan please make sure you complete the annual paperwork for the Health Office. If you have any questions about what is needed please reach out to your building nurse.
The middle school health offices are also accepting clothing donations to keep extra clothes on hand for students. We are accepting sweatshirts, leggings, and sweatpants in sizes youth medium (size 10/12) to adult large.
Yearbook club: Starts Thursday September 17th 2:35-3:30. We meet on Thursdays throughout the school year in the north library. If you're interested in signing up please do so with the link. School Supplies, The Middle School PTO has put together a Toolkit for easy 1 stop shopping for school supplies. Here the PTO website

Breakfast and Lunch, Breakfast will continue to be available in both buildings this fall as a Grab and Go. When students enter the building, in the Stoddart they can get breakfast from the cafe and in the North there will be a kiosk set up in the conference room off the lobby. Students will grab breakfast head to their lockers and then to Advisory. New this year is Lunch on early releases. There will be time in our schedule for students to head to the cafe and pick up a preordered lunch if their parents or guardians ordered it and if they need it. They will eat lunch in their classroom. This will be a light and nutritious lunch offering.

TEXTILE BIN
Have you done an end of summer purge of clothing and other fabric items but don't know what to do with those bags of old clothes, shoes, or linens? Drop them into the textile recycling bin in the middle school parking lot to help support GDMS PTO! Be sure to look for our logo!
