Family Memo

Hello Middle School families.  I hope you have a great weekend. 2 more days.. We can do anything for 2 more days

I am so grateful for your partnership.  I am looking forward to the last couple of days and then some time to recalibrate and refresh.  There is a lot to look forward to as I am already thinking about next year.

Our last day of school is Tuesday June 17th with an 11:30 dismissal.  Students can not ride other student’s buses unless there is prior approval from Dee Bus.

The GDEF raffle for the front row seats at the grade 8 promotion ceremony raised $600.00. So cool, thank you for your support.

6th grade families, this letter was sent to you last week about immunizations for 7th grade.

Physical exam and immunization requirements for entry into 7th grade.

Mr. St. Germain, one of our grades 7 & 8 PE teachers, is currently developing a golf unit for our students as part of our physical education curriculum. The goal of this unit is to introduce students to lifelong recreational activities while teaching important skills such as coordination. He is looking for used right- and left-handed golf clubs to kick-start our unit. Please reach out with any questions or if you're able to donate, astgermain@gdrsd.org. Thank you!

Core Values: We are our new Core Values for the Middle School.  Teachers and staff worked on these together last year.  We will have students help us design posters over the course of the school year.

  • Ownership, Own your space, Own your learning, Own your behavior.

  • Awareness, Be aware of yourself and others, Be aware of your surroundings, and Be aware of your impact.

  • Kindness, Be kind to yourself, Be kind to others, and Be kind to your surroundings.

It has been my absolute pleasure working with you this year.

Sincerely your Groton Dunstable Regional Middle School Principal
