Family Memo

Hello Middle School families.  I hope you have a great vacation week with your families.

And for another very middle school thing. As a reminder when your middle school students are growing and things in their bodies are changing we want to encourage regular bathing and deodorant.  Particularly as we move into the warmer, finger crossed, months.

Square One Art is here.  This is a great PTO fundraiser.   Thank you to those of you who participate.

This week during Kindness week our students and staff wrote letters anonymously to another person.  These letters will go out in the mail to all students and staff during the month of March. Every member of our middle school community will get a kind note.  Our PTO has agreed to pay the postage for these 800+ cards.  If you would like to help support this kindness effort you can make a donation to the PTO at www.gdmspto.com

Thank you.  This idea came from one of our 7th grade students. 😀

National Girls and Women in Sports Day Clinic, The Lawrence Academy Girls Varsity Basketball team is hosting their 4th annual Basketball Clinic.  This free community event takes place at the Stone Athletic Center on campus at LA on Saturday morning February 21, 2026 and is open to anyone in Grades K-8.

The QR code on the flyer can be used to pre-register or an adult can register their child at the gym that morning.

All levels of basketball experience are welcome. Bring a water bottle, dress for participation and get ready to have a blast working on your skills with the team and coaches Emily Pratt and Donna Mastrangelo!
