Hello Middle School families,
Today was a great last Friday. We had grades 5 and 6 field days, grade 7 had an outdoor activity around water scarcity in Africa. The students participated in a walking for water simulation, and the 8th grade did a lot of practice around their moving up ceremony and then had their annual Ice Cream Truck. Lots going on here at the middle school.
I hope you have a great weekend. 2 more wake ups. It has been my absolute pleasure working with you this year. I am looking forward to the summer break and the opportunity to recharge and recalibrate so that we can walk into the 25-26 school year ready to rock and roll.
Current Grade 6/rising grade 7 students this is your Summer Reading information.
8th grade information. Students who are attending GDRHS will be taking their Chromebooks home with them on Monday. They will also get a charger. The Chromebook should be charged and ready to go on the first day of school. If they are not attending GDRHS they should leave their Chromebook in their current classroom before the end of the year. If plans change over the summer, you can return the device to the GDRSD Central Office at 344 Main Street in Groton.
(From The Tech Department)
