Finding Nemo Jr, Flyer  Nemo.  We want to encourage families to bring younger siblings. Students, staff, seniors are $5 admission, adults are $10 admission. Friday Nov. 17 7pm, Sat. Nov. 18 2pm and 7pm.

Project Mitten,  Project Mitten has been a fundraising activity,  for the Community Children’s Fund,  in the Middle School for over 20 years.  Students will have lots of fun and opportunities to contribute to the fund.  Please be on the lookout for more information from your student’s  teachers and teams.

Lost and Found,  Please have a conversation with your students about checking our lost and found.  When we talk about Ownership, students need to own their belongings.  The amount of clothes we have in the lost and found is astounding.  Expensive sweatshirts and jackets.  We will leave the lost and found items out through parent conferences so that you may look for your student’s belongings also.

From a Current 8th Grade student, SQUISHMALLOWS 4 a CAUSE!!!

Together with my friends and family I am collecting NEW, unused Squishmallows for the Worcester Children's Hospital as part of my end of the year 8th grade civics project.

All Squishmallows collected will go right to Kendra Frederick (Groton resident and Mom).  Kendra is one of the hospital's amazing Child Life Specialists.  On any given night the hospital has approximately 60 kids staying overnight.  Therefore, our goal is to collect at least 60 Squishmallows - although we are secretly hoping for 120! =)  I will stop collecting on Dec. 11!

We have two ways for your to participate:

#1 A new, unused Squishmallows (any size, shape or theme) can be brought to Mrs. Ogden's room in the Middle School North Building

or

#2 you can donate $5-$10 and we will do the shopping for you!  Venmo @Jennifer-Moeller-25, please put "Squishmallow" in the comments!

If you have questions or would like to view my Amazon and Target Wish List to have a Squishmallow delivered directly to my house please email me at MoellerLAddisyn@gmail.com

PTO

Annual Fundraising Campaign,  I wanted to bring this back to the top.  Our Middle School PTO can’t do all the things they do without your support.

Each year, the GDMS PTO runs a campaign to raise funds for the school year and beyond. All funds raised are integral to our mission to support the well-rounded educational experience of students and staff at the middle school. We appreciate any and all support. Thank you!

Volunteers Needed

The PTO is looking for volunteers to fill a variety of roles. There are opportunities available for people who are able to donate one hour of their time, people who have several hours to give, and everyone in between. We would love to work with you! See our flyer for more information.
