Good Afternoon Groton Dunstable Regional Middle School Families.
I hope you are all finding some time to relax and enjoy family and friends. It feels like the weather is starting to cooperate with us and we are having some nice sunny 90 degree beach days.
Important topics for you to know:
Mr. Day and Mr. Fleming are hard at work preparing our 23-24 student schedules. We are on track to go live with the schedule on or around the 15th of August.
Mr. Day and I will be setting up an Ice Cream Social for our 5th grade students and any new students who would like to meet some peers and get a tour. The event will be Wednesday August 23rd at 2:30 in the South Cafeteria.

PTO News, we are looking forward to getting back to school and getting back to our fundraising and enrichment activities for our Middle School students.
We are looking for a Book Fair Coordinator. This is a very popular Middle School Fundraiser. This person would be responsible for communicating with Scholastic, supporting the setup and take down, organizing the sign ups and a few odds and ends. The Book fair is scheduled for the week of the Open House, September 18th.
There will be an experienced mentor to guide you along the way. Come work with some great parent volunteers and make a difference for our children.

First day of school August 30th Start time remains the same, 8:08. Student drop off will start at 7:58. We will assess this time in the first few weeks of school. If our drop off line is really long we may adjust as we did this past school year. Students are not allowed in the buildings until 7:58. Students do not get off buses until 7:58. Student dismissal is 2:24.
Friday September 1st is a ½ day. 11:25 dismissal
No school Monday Labor.
Middle School Fall Open House will be Thursday September 21st 6-7:30 pm.
