The Pillars of GD
On October 2, we proudly celebrate National School Custodian Appreciation Day at Groton-Dunstable Regional High School. We want to give a heartfelt shoutout to Javi, Carmelo, Cesar, Carlos, and Gaby. From early morning preparations to late-night cleanups, they work hard behind the scenes every single day. They greet us with a smile, help us out in a pinch, keep our classrooms safe, our hallways shining, and our entire campus welcoming for every student, teacher, and visitor. None of this would be possible without our incredible custodial team and our high school community wants to recognize the dedicated individuals who keep our campus running smoothly every single day.
A Vital Part of Our School Family
They protect student health: Through deep cleaning and constant care, they maintain a healthy and safe school environment where our students can learn and thrive.
They support school activities: From setup to cleanup, they work behind the scenes of every athletic game/event, co-curricular club event, and community gathering.
They build positive connections: They greet our students with warm smiles, offer helping hands and assistance without skip[ping a beat, and serve as wonderful role models for our community.
Thank you, GD School Custodians.
