PRINCIPAL MESSAGE
And here we are! With only two days left to the school year, it has been quite a mad dash to the end. We had thought that after the seniors left and graduation was over, we could cruise right into summer. However, not before we did some transition events with the 8th graders, continued to work on the schedule for next year, recognize many students for their achievement in all the disciplines, and present our Students of the Month to our School Committee and community.
What I am looking forward to the most is building upon the many good things our students and staff have accomplished this year. Whether it be through curriculum work, developing new courses or working on systems, protocols and processes, the beginning of next year will set the tone for our students and staff and continue to impact the learning experiences in many areas.
There will be finals on Monday, Make-ups on Tuesday and then summer begins!!
I wish all of our students and their families a much deserved and needed summer and look forward to welcoming in the Class of 2030 in August.
We are GD!

CLASS OF 2029 CLOTHING DRIVE FUNDRAISER EXTENDED TO JUNE 16th!!
Are you holding onto clothing that is taking up space in your closet? If so, the GDRHS Class of 2029 is giving you a chance to make some room in your closet while supporting a great cause.
We are wrapping up a Clothing Drive sponsored by the Epilepsy Foundation of New England. We are collecting clothing/shoes/linens at the Groton-Dunstable High School to raise money for the Class of 2029. Each pound of clothing collected will provide funds for the Class of 2029 and help support the Epilepsy Foundation in their fight to stop seizures.
Please see the attached list of acceptable items to get you started. All donated textiles (shoes, clothing, linens) need to be in tied plastic trash bags
(13 gallon & up) or boxes that are closed or have tops. (no need to separate the items.) Items cannot be wet, moldy, or contaminated in any way.
Each full trash bag (13-gallon kitchen trash bag & up) counts as 1 bag. We cannot count any bags as 2 bags because they are larger than others.
Donation bags can be brought in to the high school up until Tuesday, June 16th during the school day.
Every bag counts, please help us reach our goal of 500 bags. We hope you will be able to participate.
