PRINCIPAL MESSAGE
ELA MCAS is in the books! Mr. Kiley, Mrs Black, Mr. Bisbee, and their entire MCAS team did a fantastic job with executing the assessment. However, the students were equally responsible as almost all of the students came prepared with a charged Chromebook and they worked diligently to do their best. I was not here on the first day and received many emails from other principals who were experiencing all kinds of technical issues. In some cases, the assessment had to be postponed. Not at GD! Mr. Bisbee had successfully managed the change in protocols and prepared our systems to work flawlessly. Great job to all involved!
It’s showtime! We are seeing game uniforms being worn, robots going through their paces, and props being made as the various teams begin their game schedules, robotomies rolling along in their competitions, and the musical is only 2 weeks away! Join me in supporting all of our students!
March Madness is almost over so buckle up for the quickest and most action packed part of the year.
We are GD!!

GET INVOLVED WITH THE GD ARTS BOOSTERS!
The GD Arts Boosters are always looking for new parents to join us in supporting music, theater, and visual arts at the high school. Whether you can help occasionally or want to be more involved, every contribution of time makes a real difference for our student artists.
Looking ahead, we’ll especially need extra helping hands for concessions and Candy Grams during the upcoming spring musical, Little Shop of Horrors, coming up in April. These events are fun, social, and one of our most important ways to support arts programs and scholarships.
