Before break, Dr. Katie Novak offered to provide the HS staff with 1 hour UDL professional development session. However, the enthusiasm that the staff met with opportunity compelled Katie to come back for a our 1/2 PD day!
She shared many resources, modeled how to teach "students" by offering choices while maintaining high standards, and opened our eyes to the power of UDL.
We are fortunate to have such a talented person in our community! Thank you Katie!!
