PRINCIPAL MESSAGE

What a Week!!

We arrived on Tuesday to see our driveway paved!  This hopefully signifies the pending arrival of clean and safe water!  It has been years, if not decades since everyone felt comfortable drinking what came out of our faucets. In conjunction with the new roads we hope to be able to improve our signage for ease of navigation of our campus.

This week was Spirit Week and we saw staff and students alike celebrating Pajama, Decades, and Sport Jersey/Jersey Shore days. In addition, we saw the Golf Team win their league and qualify for States and several other teams in position to fight for a play off spot.  Our Unified Basketball Team Battled Littleton and saw many firsts for our players. Check out our live feed for a couple of pictures. Go Crusaders!

Today, we will have our Homecoming Spirit Rally, Tailgate, bonfire and games.  I will never grow tired of seeing so many students on our campus beyond the school day!  There will be food, drinks and even face painting available. Come on by, check it out and show your PINK Spirit!!

Volleyball will have its senior night match in our gym to add to the excitement of the Homecoming festivities including the tailgate.  At the football game, we will have NM’s Band performing and also representatives from the 6th Middlesex Regiment who will “Patriotically” add to the exciting atmosphere with their attire and muskets.

It is a great day to be a part of GD!

Sincerely,

Rick Arena

VETERANS INVITED!!

Our school is thrilled to be bringing back our annual Veterans Day Assembly, a special tradition we haven't held in several years. A key goal for us this year is to deeply involve the community in this important event.

We are reaching out to ask you, our local veterans, to be our honored guests. We will introduce each participant individually with a brief reading. Please feel free to wear your uniform, everyday clothes, or any pin, hat, or item that represents your branch. This is your day, and we want you to be comfortable.

If you are a veteran and would like to sit with us, or if you know a family member or friend who would like to participate in this recognition, please reach out to Hanna Vella at hvella@gdrsd.org.

Thank you for your service!
