PRINCIPAL MESSAGE
Although we have a three day weekend, there is much anticipation for our Homecoming Week. Thanks to our Student Activities Council, Student Council, and Class of 2027 for elevating our Crusader Spirit! See details in this edition of the Newsletter.
This week, our seniors were recognized for their commitment to their teams by several “Senior Nights”. Having been a coach for many seasons, this event served as a reminder of the influence family and friends have on our students during their educational journey. My wife and I were able to experience this special occasion with our own son and felt what I have seen so many parents experience. Senior year is full of opportunities to make memories and cherish the unique milestones only 12th graders reach. I encourage all associated with a senior, to take the time to relish in these experiences as they will be with us for a lifetime.
Enjoy the well-deserved long weekend!
Sincerely,
Rick Arena

PINK WEEK !
The Student Council is hosting Pink Week to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. The following will run through Thursday, October 16th. All profits raised will be donated to cancer research.
During lunch, students can:
Buy a pink bag of gifts.
Buy a pink “Crusaders for a Cause” duck to be thrown at the “Chuck a Duck” bullseye during our Oct. 17th pep rally to try and win a prize.
Buy a chance to guess how many pink starburst are in the jar.
In addition, we are running an A Block competition and asking students to donate comfort items which will then be organized into Chemo Care Kits. The A Block who brings in the most items will win a Student Council sponsored breakfast. The kits will then be donated to patients who are undergoing chemotherapy. Items that we are asking for include:
