With help from many people from our school and community, I want to welcome Sean Kiley as our new Assistant Principal!
A first-generation college student, Sean credits the immeasurable impact that educators have had on his personal development, and their imprints of inclusion and life-long learning. He has served as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and principal. What drew me to his application is The Always Forward Project he founded. It is a non-profit organization that honors, supports and continues the good works of those coaches and educators who have taken an active and caring role in student lives beyond the classroom. Adding value beyond the classroom was a theme the new teachers and staff discussed during orientation.
In his own words, "I join Groton-Dunstable Regional High School with high expectations and the belief that great schools are the result of great teachers and staff members. I am grateful to the Groton-Dunstable Regional School District community for reminding me that RELATIONSHIPS are what matter most in education."
A few staff and students were able to say hello, and I know with his experience and disposition, he is going to settle right into our community nicely.
I want to officially welcome our newest AP, Sean Kiley!
