Dear Families,
We will be celebrating Friendship Day on Tuesday February 14th in our school. If you would like your child to participate in the Friendship Day card exchange, please have your child sign THEIR NAME ONLY on the cards that they will be giving out. We ask that they DO NOT write the names of their peers, as it will make the delivery process easier to manage. :)
Also, due to allergies, we ask that NO EDIBLE ITEMS are included with the Friendship Day cards. Please send your child’s Friendship Day cards into school on Tuesday February 14th.
Feel free to send in a special snack (peanut/tree nut free) for your child to enjoy during our snack times. Thank you for your kindness!
News this week: This week marked the beginning of mud season! This time of year, the ground alternates between snow, ice, and then mud due to the thawing. We still go outside, so please send in winter clothes. An extra change of clothes might be needed for those warmer, muddier days!
Preschool Registration Information: Registration is now closed! Thank you for your response. We will start to contact families the first week in March regarding acceptance. Please note, your deposit will be due within one week after that time in order to secure your spot for the 23-24 school year.
Kindergarten Registration: Registration for Kindergarten is right around the corner! Both elementary schools will hold parent information nights in early March; registration will open following that. Please keep checking the Florence Roche and Swallow Union webpages for dates. They will also be added to the Boutwell calendar once they have been announced.
Vision Screening: Our annual vision screening occurred this week. As a reminder, I will contact you if your child needs additional follow up/assessments. Please call or email me if you have any questions or concerns!
