We had a great week! We took advantage of the nice weather and enjoyed the sunshine and warmth all week long!
Many of you have been eagerly anticipating your child’s school photo. We have been in contact with Mark Lawrence Studios; they indicated that your childs’ school pictures should be in next week!
ECAC: The Early Childhood Advisory Council is a group of parents, community members, teachers, etc. who come together to discuss programs and plans for Boutwell. We are currently forming a new ECAC and would love volunteers to join! There will be 3 afternoon meetings this year- November, February, and May. The November meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 13th, at 12pm. Please email Maggie at mrossrichardson@gdrsd.org if you would like to join.
Upcoming Events: The district will be observing Veterans Day on Friday, November 11th. There will be no school that day. Additionally, the day before Thanksgiving is a district wide half day. Dismissal for all students will be 11:30 am.
Arrival and Dismissal: Lately, dismissal at 11:30 and arrival at 12:30 have been delayed. When picking up or dropping off your child, please pull all the way up to the orange cones, regardless of the door your child uses. Thank you for your help.
Nursing Updates: There has been an increase in respiratory infections (RSV, flu, and COVID-19) all across the state. Please keep your child home if they are sick, especially with a severe cough or fever.
