We're thrilled to announce our district's cybersecurity efforts! The Groton-Dunstable Regional School District has been awarded the Municipal Cybersecurity Awareness Grant through the 2024 Municipal Cybersecurity Awareness Grant Program, administered by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Executive Office of Technology Services and Security (EOTSS).

This grant program is specifically tailored to bolster the cybersecurity defenses of local government agencies like ours. Through comprehensive end-user training, evaluation, and threat simulation, the program aims to elevate our overall cybersecurity posture, ensuring the safety and security of our digital infrastructure.

Thanks to this grant, we're excited to provide our staff with one year of top-notch online cybersecurity training services. The Commonwealth has partnered with KnowBe4, a leading cybersecurity training platform, to deliver cutting-edge training modules, evaluation tools, and threat simulations. Even better, the grant GDRSD received from the Commonwealth has procured all licensing costs for these services for the entire program duration, from January 1 through December 31, 2024.

This grant acceptance underscores our district's commitment to staying ahead of the curve regarding cybersecurity. With cyber threats rising, it's more important than ever to equip our staff with the knowledge and skills they need to identify and mitigate potential risks.

We're incredibly proud to have been selected to participate in this competitive grant program. We look forward to working closely with our partners at EOTSS and KnowBe4 to strengthen our cybersecurity defenses. Together, we can ensure that our district remains a safe and secure teaching, learning, and collaboration environment.
