2009-2010 Kindergarten Registration

     The Groton-Dunstable Regional School District is pleased to announce that the 2009-2010 Kindergarten Registration for Groton and Dunstable children will be the week of February 2nd through February 6th.  Please note that this registration is for students who are not currently enrolled in the Groton-Dunstable pre-school program, or who are currently enrolled in private programs.  School and program preference forms for families of students currently enrolled in the Groton-Dunstable pre-school program will be available at Boutwell School and Florence Roche School as of Monday, February 2nd.

     Kindergarten registration packets will be available at the Kindergarten Parent Orientation Session, scheduled for January 28th from 7:00-8:00 PM at the Performing Arts Center, located in Middle School South. We encourage you to pick-up registration packets at your earliest convenience, beginning January 29th, so that the forms can be returned to the appropriate location by the February 6th registration deadline. Completed registration materials should be returned to either Florence Roche School for Florence Roche students or Swallow Union School for Swallow Union students.  Please drop-off completed materials between the hours of 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM at your designated school.

     Your child must be five years old on or before August 31, 2009 to be eligible for kindergarten in the Groton-Dunstable School District. If your child was born between September 1, 2003 and August 31, 2004 he or she will be eligible for kindergarten beginning in September 2009. Please note that registration materials must include a copy of your child’s birth certificate and current immunization records.      Parents are encouraged to attend the January 28th Kindergarten Parent Orientation Session as an opportunity to learn about the Kindergarten program and to get answers to specific questions they may have about the Groton-Dunstable Kindergarten program.

Swallow Union School is located at 522 Main Street, Dunstable.
