Physical Exam Requirements
A valid copy of your physical must be on file in the nurse’s office before you can practice or participate in any sport. Valid is defined as current 13 months from the date of the exam.
A physical may be done by your PCP or at school. School physicals will be done on March 31, 2008. A permission form signed by a parent is required for a school physical and is available from the nurse in each building. These forms must be returned to the school nurse by Friday, March 28, 2008. The student will be given an appointment time when the permission form is returned to the nurse. The cost of a school physical is $5.00. Check with Mrs. Closs or Mrs. Stidsen if you have any questions.
Other information
The release form and schedule can be found on the MS website under the athletics section. Please note that game schedules are not final until April 7th. No games or practices will occur over the April vacation. The season will run from March 31st to June 5th. Due to the high interest in some sports, a tryout period may occur over 3 days for some teams. Every student athlete will participate in the MS track and field team.
