Dear Parents and Students:

This is the time of year for all of us to take a step back and spend time with our families, friends, and relatives.  It is a time for counting blessings and looking forward to our New Year.  It is also a time to give thanks to the people who spend a good portion of the school year with your child(ren) - our teaching faculty.  Their many hours of work and dedication sometimes go unnoticed.  I consider the term “teacher” an honor.  I believe that it is a high calling, and the lives that our teaching staff reach, are lives that are touched forever!  In addition, thank you to the moms and dads who have also helped, volunteered, and given many hours to support our students and staff.  Most of all, a special thanks to our students!  It is exciting to see the look in a student’s eye when he/she masters or understands a new concept.  What greater calling could we have than to work with kids?  Some have unique challenges.  Some are talented in music or athletics.  Some are academically gifted, and some who may not get all A’s and B’s contribute their talents in so many other ways.

I hope that this New Year brings you and your loved ones good health, good spirit, and well being.

The following is a list of upcoming happenings for the month of January.  If you have any questions, please call my office at 978-448-6155.

Sincerely,

Steven M. Silverman
