School Choice

School choice allows Massachusetts residents to choose to which public school they will send their children.  Not all school districts, and not all schools within a district will participate in school choice, and those who do participate in the school choice program may or may not choose to participate every year.

School choice participation is determined by the school committee in conjunction with the Superintendent’s office, and is often based on projected enrollments and available space.
