Yearbook

The purpose of the organization is to produce a yearbook for the high school including freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors (major emphasis on seniors).  The goal is to include the entire student body in the book.  Major emphasis is to have yearbook staff members accept responsibility, use creativity, and adhere to demanding deadlines.

The yearbook staff uses computer technology to produce the yearbook, is committed to excellence in journalism, photography and publishing, and is made up of students who work as a team that has mutual respect and appreciation for the entire student body.

Yearbook Club requires no eligibility requirements other than being able to attend a weekly meeting after school and during deadline weeks (4 per year) being able to commit to more time.  The staff is comprised of a mix of students from all grades.  Students do not need computer or photography skills to join the yearbook because the yearbook adviser instructs the staff members on layout, design, digital photography, scanning, and software and the yearbook software application.
