Student Council

Student Council is a student-driven council whose mission is to be the student body voice, implement change to better student life and to best represent the opinions of students when creating new policies and procedures. The Student Council is the voice of the student body when meeting with the School Committee and the School Council.  It is the goal of the Student Council to a make positive difference in the GDRHS community, act as leaders and to be well-respected participants in GDRHS student life.  Student Council is comprised of the vice president of each class as well as two elected and two appointed individuals from each class.  Fellow council members elect officers of the student council internally.  Student Council meetings are held after school bi-monthly and are advised by Mr. Rick Arena.  All members of the Student Council are also members of the GDRHS Leadership Team, which meets monthly during the school day.
