Policies Books may be borrowed for three weeks. After three weeks a book may be renewed if it has not been requested by anyone else. (Books must be brought to the library for renewal.) A student will lose borrowing privileges after an item is a week overdue; after two weeks the student will not be allowed to use the library at all until the item is returned or reimbursement has been made. Current issues of magazines are not allowed to be taken out of the library; however, back issues may be signed out for a week. Photocopying of school-related material may be done for a student by a library staff member. Students are allowed 25 free copies, after which a 10-cent per copy charge will be assessed. Computer and Internet use is limited to those who have a signed Acceptable Use Policy on file. Students may drop off their signed copies in the library. Videos and DVD's are for use by teachers. Students may only sign out these items with a teacher co-signature. The charge for a lost book is $25. The lost magazine charge is $5. Students who owe the library for a lost item will forfeit their borrowing privileges until the item is returned or reimbursement is made. Library Hours: On days that school is in session, the library is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., Wednesday and Friday 6:45 - 2:15.Note: Access to InfoTrac, Massachusetts Newsstand, Science Online, and Issues & Controversies is made possible by the joint efforts of the Central Massachusetts Regional Library System and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
