Welcome Florence Roche Families!

As we begin a new school year, I’d like to inform you of the latest news from our school cafeteria:

• Again this year, we are striving to keep all of our menu selections healthy, including more nutritious cereal options, and some simpler food choices geared toward the tastes of younger children.

• The price of a hot lunch will remain unchanged this year at $2.25 and milk at $0.50.

• We will continue to offer a “punch card” program for those families wishing to pre-pay for their children’s lunches.  You may pre-pay for up to 36 lunches by sending a note including your child’s name, teacher’s name and the number of lunches purchased along with the appropriate amount (number of desired lunches x $2.25) in cash or check made payable to “FloRo Hot Lunch Program”.  If paying by cash, please send in the exact amount.  Please send in a sealed envelope marked to my attention.  Teachers will distribute the lunch tickets in the classroom and your child will present the ticket to the cafeteria worker each time s/he purchases a cafeteria meal.  The card is valid until all the pre-paid meals have been purchased as indicated by the number of punches on the ticket.
