DEFINITION OF HOMEWORK |
Homework is a purposeful learning experience that is an extension and application of school learning. Homework is assigned by the teacher to be done outside the school environment. Please be aware that the time assignments are guidelines. Some students may take more or less time then is listed below. If your child is consistantly taking significantly more time to complete the assignments, please contact your child's classroom teacher. |

We believe that homework has a definite place in the education program in the elementary school when it serves the following purposes:
